8 week online oil painting course. Every Sunday 3-4:30pm

1st lesson October 15th (Safety, material review, measuring in drawing and painting, different support ie, canvas wood etc.)

2nd lesson October 22nd (Basic techniques, composition, value and underpainting

3rd lesson October 29th (Washes, scumbling and glazes, chiaroscuro ie. light and shadow vs Grisaille)

4th lesson November 5th (Slow drying vs fast drying. layering and colour blocking)

5th lesson November 12th (Colour theory, Alla Prima and Impasto)

6th lesson November 19th (Brush techniques, scraping, oil pastel, knife work and colour mixing TIPS AND TRICKS)

7th lesson November 26th (Blending and Scratching)

8th lesson December 3rd (Knife work)

We begin each lesson with a warm up (drawing or painting) followed by lesson and practice.

Homework will be given and is optional but recommended
